Sliding Fee Scale Policy
ICT Street Team provides healthcare services to individuals who are experiencing homelessness in accordance with the current HUD definition, with no healthcare benefits, and that have a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline. All services are provided to eligible patients free of charge regardless of their ability to pay for services (please see sliding fee scale). Individuals covered under insurance plans from KanCare, Medicare, Group Coverages or other insurances are referred to another health care agency.
The ICT Street Team provides primary healthcare services to those experiencing homelessness using a mobile medical model to deliver care at the point of contact. By focusing on their mission “Serving on their terms, not ours” the ICT Street Team strives to remove the multiple barriers that often cause our homeless citizens to miss opportunities to meet their own healthcare needs.
